Q. How long do I have to wear the splint?
A.The splint will be removed between five and seven days.
Q. When Can I shower?
A.You may shower 48 hours after surgery and you can get the splint wet.
Q. Can I blow my nose?
A.You should not blow you nose for at least two weeks after surgery.
Q. Do you use packing after the rhinoplasty?
A.No, we do not use packing.
Q. When can I drive?
A.You may drive a couple days after surgery as long as you are not on any pain medications.
Q. How should I sleep?
You should sleep on your back with you head elevated on two pillows.
Q. How long will the brusing last?
A.Each patient is different, but bruising can last a couple of weeks.
Q. When can i wear my glasses or contacts?
A.Contacts can be re-inserted a few days after surgery. Glasses may be worn but not rest directly on the nose for at least six weeks.
Q. When can I work out?
A.You may work out a month after your surgery date.
Q. Do I have to finish all the medications?
A.You must finish all the antibotics and take all other medications as needed.
